MCG begins Property Tax Survey – Public Notice
Municipal Corporation Gurugram has issued a Public Notice informing about the mandatory Property tax Survey that has been started across Gurgaon. The survey is being conducted by Haryana Government authorised agency M/s Yashi Consulting Services Private Limited. The agency surveyors will be going door-to-door at all houses, shops, commercial buildings, plots, etc across the district jurisdiction of Gurugram. This survey is done under the guidelines of the Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana.
The public at large has been requested and advised to support the surveyors and provide valid information about their properties. The property documents along with other proofs like electricity bills, valid ID proof, property tax receipts, etc. have to be furnished when asked by the surveyors. Rented properties will require the tenants to provide with the lease documents and contacts of the property owners.
The notice also clearly states no fees or charges have to be paid to the surveyor teams for any reason.
It is mandatory for all property owners to provide this information and documents as per provisions under Section 104 & 105 of Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994.

Better survey is done in unauthorised colonies or too much congested areas. Authorised colonies mostly follow strict norms as per RWAs.
