Municipal Corporation Gurugram is the legislative body for the district of Gurugram (Gurgaon) which runs all administrative and civic services. The executive team of MCG is headed by Commissioner and supported by his team comprising of Deputy Commissioner, Joint Commissioners and other administrative heads for the district.
MCG provides various civic services like property tax, birth or death certification, health and sanitation services, marriage registration, waste management, trade licences, tenders etc. Most of these services available online on MCG website or at their Gurugram office located at C-1, Info City, Sector 34, Gurugram.

The Municipal Corporation holds an election every 5 years to form Municipal Council with Municipal Councilors elected from 35 wards of Gurugram municipal jurisdiction. The councilors come together to chose the Mayor and Deputy Mayors to lead the team effectively.
